Room Hire Charges 2026

Room hire rates and eligibility categories

Brighton Life Saving Club offers room hire for corporate functions, community groups and eligible not-for-profit organisations. The categories below are intended to make the applicable hire rate clear before an enquiry is submitted.

High Impact $250 $250 $250

Which hire category applies? 

Private: A business, company, government agency, professional association or other commercial organisation hiring the room for a business-related purpose, including meetings, workshops, training, presentations, staff functions or corporate events. Additionally, a family booking the room for a private function i.e. birthday, christening, baby shower etc.

Community Group: A local group, club or association that primarily exists to bring people together for a community, recreational, educational, cultural or social purpose rather than to generate commercial profit. This may include informal community groups as well as incorporated associations. 

Not-for-Profit Organisation: An organisation established and operated for a community, charitable, sporting, educational or other not-for-profit purpose, where profits or surpluses are applied to the organisation's purpose rather than distributed to owners or members. The Club may ask for evidence of not-for-profit status when assessing eligibility for this category.

*Important
Eligibility for a community or not-for-profit rate is determined by Brighton Life Saving Club. The Club may request information about the organisation and the purpose of the booking before confirming the applicable rate. Private individuals or commercial businesses do not qualify for a community or not-for-profit rate solely because an event has a community connection.
